Powerhouse is not like most commercial gyms; we provide an elite standard in exercise periodization and nutrition education to ensure our members achieve the best results possible. Our structured Strength and Conditioning classes have been customized and programmed to accommodate and challenge all ages and fitness levels in a fun and supportive environment.

Meet our Trainers

Scott (Owner / Head Coach)


Scott has been working in the strength and conditioning and sport science for over 15 years and in 2015 he opened the doors to Powerhouse. Scott developed a serious passion for Nutrition Science and Natural Bodybuilding in 2015 and has been successfully working with physique athletes ever since. He began competing in Natural Bodybuilding himself in 2017 earning his ICN PRO Card in both Fitness and Physique divisions, winning 3 PRO Australian Titles and a PRO World Title. In 2023 Scott also earned his NBA PRO Card in Men's Physique and won the NBA Australian PRO Title.

More recently Scott has just returned from 12months in London, where he completed his Master of Science Degree in Sport and Exercise Nutrition. During that time he was also appointed Head of Performance Nutrition for the Saracens Women's Rugby Union Club (Premiership Women's Rugby). He is currently conducting research with the London Sport Institute, investigating the impact of carbohydrate on muscular endurance during the menstrual cycle in eumenorrheic female physique athletes.

Scott is extremely passionate about all facets of evidence based training and nutrition and educating others on how to incorporate both for long term sustainable results.

Chris (Facility Manager / Trainer) 

Chris has been working at Powerhouse from day 1. With a sporting background in football and cricket his love for all things health and fitness is very strong. Chris has a passion for working with those new to the fitness scene and runs the Mums and Bubs Program. His patient and nurturing demeanour paired with his natural art of coaching ensures all our members and his clients are well looked after.

 Zac (Head Strength Coach)

Zac has been involved in the fitness industry since 2013. As a teenager he fell in love with Strength Training and shortly after, Natural Bodybuilding. He competed for the first time in 2015, winning the Junior INBA Victorian Championships on debut. In the years to follow Zac found his true passion in Natural Powerlifting and has become extremely knowledgeable within this particular scope and in 2018 came on board as the HEAD Strength coach at Powerhouse. His extensive knowledge around Strength training and biomechanics has made him an integral part of the Powerhouse Team.
